In the world of business, we have many chances to get it right, but only one chance to make an initial impression that will last. My goal is to make an impression on at least one person that will last a lifetime. My passion is human resources because it allows me to be myself. I can meet people where they are, no matter where they are. I can coach people in a way that reflects who they are and who they serve. My approach is solely based on my upbringing on Chicago's South Side. While my education and credentials are excellent, I have discovered that it is my personality and the way I move that allow me to be a fierce competitor and businesswoman.
I am a highly knowledgeable business-savvy culture-creating Human Resource Professional who is not afraid to challenge the status quo as a solutions-focused initiative-taking partner who is skilled in communications, organizational effectiveness, and bringing diverse teams together to achieve a common goal. Having a disciplined and flexible problem-solving approach that balances business goals with employee needs; being capable of making difficult decisions in stressful situations, meeting deadlines while working effectively under pressure, and aligning business strategies to human resource objectives.
I see life for what it is and I do my best to enjoy the smallest things. My pride and joy is my daughter. My life’s work is being built to give her the influences she will need to be her most amazing self. I am a God fearing, powerful, capable, energetic and loyal African-American woman. Blanca Villegas is a dynamic human resources professional with over 15 years of experience, primarily in manufacturing and hospitality. She has worked in human resources in a variety of capacities, including recruitment, employee relations, leave management, employee training, incentives, benefits, and payroll. Blanca has a proven track record of success in coaching, team building, and intercultural communication management. She has a bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management from Devry University, as well as FMLA leave management certifications.
Crystal is a Talent Acquisition Specialist with over 20 years of experience developing and executing recruiting strategies in-house and managing all phases of full-cycle recruiting, from initial sourcing and screening through offer negotiations, placement, and onboarding. Creatively source high-caliber candidates by leveraging recruiting software, social media, and employee referrals.
